An Oscillating Sprinkler that Covers Full or Part Rectangle
An oscillating sprinkler works by rotating back and forth across a designated area. This allows the sprinkler to cover a wider area more quickly than if it were to move in a straight line. And because the Hozelock Sprinkler Plus covers an adjustable rectangle, this makes it well-suited to lawns, beds and borders which often are this shape.
The size of the rectangle covered can be easily adjusted by using the red, siding mechanism built into the unit, meaning more accuracy and less wastage. There are also three size options to choose from, which we’ll cover in a moment.
Ultra-Reliable, Water-Powered, Gear Drive Motor for All Water Pressures
The Hozelock sprinkler plus is suitable for almost all water pressures (the manufacturer states between 1 – 10 bar). This means that in most everyday situations, you can be confident that this sprinkler will work well for your needs.
The water-powered motor has been cleverly designed to deliver a completely even coverage, so you can also be sure that, once you set the sprinkler up, everything within the coverage area will be getting the water it needs – even if the water pressure varies.
3 Size Models to Choose From
There are three variations to choose from, so you can choose the option most suitable for your garden. The three types available are as follows:
- The 2972 model has 15 jets, covers up to 180m² (13m x 14m) and is ideal for small gardens.
- The 2974 model has 17 jets, covers up to 200m² (13m x 15 m) and is ideal for medium-sized gardens.
- The 2975 model has 20 jets, covers up to 260m² (15m x 17 m) and is also ideal for medium-sized gardens.
There is a price difference, so it’s worth having a quick walk around your garden with a measuring tape, to figure out which one will meet your needs.
If you need to cover a particularly large area, it might even be more economic to use two of the smaller units and simply add a hose splitter connector to feed both.
Easy To Setup And Position
The sprinkler is mounted on a sled base which keeps it in position and stable, whether on the lawn or a bed. It’s lightweight and easy to reposition, so provided you have plenty of length on your hose can get it right where it’s needed.
It’s very easy to set up and use. Simply connect your hose to the unit, using the integrated male hole connector, adjust the red sliders to set the coverage area, turn on the tap and that’s it!
